Vernak Farms is a country store and pharmacy owned by Christopher and Charlene Vernak. It is located in Skaneateles, NY in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of Central New York and only a 30 minute drive from Syracuse, New York.

Vernak Farms opened in 2007 as a Country Store and Deli. As a small business we focus on supporting our local economy. Many of the products we carry are produced in the Finger Lakes region. The Deli provides pizza, sandwiches, soups, and a variety of deli items.

The pharmacy department opened in 2010. As members of the Professional Compounding Center of America (PCCA) we continually keep abreast of new ideas and techniques in the compounding world. Through professional development and discussions with leading compounding pharmacists throughout the country, we will work with you and your doctor to find a way to assure quality care for you. We will individualize and customize your medication so that you receive maximum therapeutic benefit. Whether it is in the form of a transdermal cream, troche (lozenge), suspension or capsule we will find a way to best serve you.

Charlene Vernak is co-owner and supervising pharmacist at Vernak Farms. She graduated from The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1997 and has worked in retail pharmacy for many years. She became interested in compounding medications as a way to help patients who do not tolerate or respond to traditional medications. Charlene studied pharmacy compounding at the Medisca Compounding Site in Florida and received further training from PCCA.

Christopher Vernak, co-owner and manager of Vernak Farms Country Store studied at Ramapo College and graduated with a degree in Environmental Studies. He worked for many years at Smith Barney in Toms River, NJ. Wanting to live in a more rural area and a more relaxed way of life, he and Charlene decided to move to Skaneateles. Christopher has built Vernak Farms into a thriving business. It is a gathering place for local residents and a must see location for summer vacationers. It is his vision to continue to support all aspects of his local community.
